Barrel-Ferment Riesling that we ‘forgot’ to bottle along with 10% 2020
Cabernet Franc juice from the same vineyard. The 2020 juice addition
creates just enough sparkle to make this a most delicious and natural
summer rose. Bottled with no sulphur and no additives. Only 30 cases
were made.

As with all our wines from the Foxcroft vineyard, this wine has
reductive aromatics. With a bit of a swirl of the glass, they weave in
between the citrus from the Riesling and the berries from the Cabernet
Franc, showing up like salt in a breezy sea air. The wine has bright
summer notes of strawberry, currants and cranberry. The palate has a
mild grip of tannin, a bright acidity and beautiful rustic bubbles.
Part punk, part pop. All alt. Remember outdoor summer concerts? So
does this wine.
